LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Nearly a month after a Shively murder, a teenager is behind bars. 23-year-old Tony Grady died after being shot several times in a parked car.
It happened October 3rd outside the Chalet Village Apartments near Matheis Lane and Dixie Highway. A woman was also shot, and survived.
A 17-year-old male was arrested and charged with murder, assault, and robbery.
Det. Sgt. Josh Myers with the Shively Police Dept. said, "It is a fair amount of evidence to lead us to believe some type of drug transaction was taking place. Not anything of a major drug transaction, not large, there was evidence that us to believe why the victim was where he was."
The name of the 17-year-old is not being released because he's a juvenile. Police say they're working to have him charged as an adult.
