LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB)---Thousands were able to "sweat" the rainbow Saturday at the second Color Run in Louisville.

There is no winner and the 5 kilometer race is not timed.

 But participants cover themselves in colorful dust made from corn starch.

"We are the spice girls they say spice up your life and we just wanted the tutus because they were cute," says Mackenzie Rodeghier.

"I like giving back to the community and I thought this was a great opportunity so that's why I participated," says Michelle Barbee.

Organizers of the nationwide event partner with a charity in each city.

This year, the program chose Girls on the Run, a Louisville program that teaches self-esteem and life skills to young girls
