LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Voting is underway for a special election to fill a vacant seat in the Kentucky House of Representatives.
Rep. Reginald Meeks resigned from the 42nd District in December.
Two candidates are on the ballot, Democrat Keturah Herron and Republican Judy Martin Stallard.
There is a polling location on West Kentucky Street at St. Stephen Church and at the Clerk's Office Election Center on Liberty Street, and a drop-box for mail-in absentee ballots will be also be on-site.
Polls for the special election will close at 6 p.m.
