LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The owner of a west Louisville barbershop is determined to reopen after a TARC bus slammed into his shop over the summer.
The crash happened in July at Clippa City Barbershop. Owner Dontay Penny spent nearly two years renovating the building on West Market Street, for it all to be destroyed in a few seconds.
After tearing the building down, Penny now plans to rebuild with a barbershop on the first floor and an apartment above it.
Penny has cut everyone's hair from Muhammad Ali to NBA stars, and he said he's excited to get back to doing what he loves.
