LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A dozen students from around Louisville will have their art featured on a Transit Authority of River City bus for the next year.

The public transportation agency, along with the Kentucky Science Center, shared the list of winners for its 24th annual Design-A-Bus contest on Thursday.

Twelve student drawings were chosen from more than 60 submissions, voted on by officials with TARC and the Science Center.

The winners will have their drawings displayed on a TARC bus for the next year. They include elementary, middle, and high school students.

This year's theme is "The Periodic Elements of Louisville."

The bus will debut in the Pegasus Parade this Sunday, April 28.
