The city of Louisville launched a wide array of free summer programs for kids and teenagers Tuesday, everything from sports activities to debate classes to financial literacy training.

Two Louisville nursing homes will permanently shut down after state surveys found "substantial noncompliance with Medicare rules and regulations," including rodents, resident neglect and failure to report allegations of abuse.

Indiana is providing new funding to help build and support projects in the state to improve mental health and recovery services.
