It's not just the lack of clean water. Local officials are concerned about fires and other emergencies. 

Some Scott County, Indiana, residents are without water after a water main break in the county on Tuesday.

Customers with the Louisville Water Company in the area of Back Run Road are not impacted by this advisory.

City officials said several water main breaks and running water during the cold temperatures drained the water tanks supply at the water treatment plant.

The town issued a boil water advisory from Nov. 13 to 15 after a contractor for the Indiana Department of Transportation struck a water main while laying digital fiber, town officials said.
