The Quadrantid Meteor Shower is active now and is expected to peak Tuesday night! The name is a mouthful, but meteor showers are named for the constellation they come from

Look up into the northern sky tonight for a chance to see an active meteor shower. The Draconids are active right now, but they're not the only one.

Activity from the Lyrid meteor shower is starting to pick up! It looks like the technical "peak" in activity will be Wednesday night/Thursday morning, but activity usually starts to pick up around April 16.

For the next week or so the Delta Aquarid Shower will reign supreme, but it's not the only upcoming meteor shower. From early to mid August, it will be the Perseid Meteor Shower that lights up the sky.
