A Louisville organization is asking for donations to restock homeless care kit items before winter.
More than $100,000 worth of donated medical supplies are headed to Jefferson County Public Schools classrooms.
SOS collects about 2,000 pounds of medical supplies a day.

SOS will be closed for supply donations from Dec. 23-Jan. 2.
More than $30,000 worth of items will be delivered, including household basics like laundry detergent.
Louisville organizations, including SOS, WaterStep and Love the Hungry, have gathered $128,000 worth of aid to send to the war-torn region.
Thursday afternoon, representatives from LMPD loaded up boxes of hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes and first aid items.
The kits will be donated to the Coalition for the Homeless, which will pass them out during its annual Street Count in February.
