A 19-year-old accused of opening fire on two teenagers in Louisville in February, injuring a 15-year-old, is scheduled to appear in court Friday morning.

Mary May, 29, pleaded not guilty to reckless homicide, reckless driving, wanton endangerment and assault.

A third person was arrested Saturday in connection with the April 3 shooting of a 16-year-old in Louisville’s Taylor Berry neighborhood.

The Louisville Metro Police Department's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit announced Wednesday that detectives arrested Steven Calhoun, 40, in connection with the June 9 shooting.

The arrest stems from a shooting that happened around 6 a.m. on May 24 in the 1700 block of Berry Boulevard.

A Kentucky State Police tactical flight officer was hospitalized after a laser beam hit the cockpit of a helicopter searching for a missing child. 

The shooting happened Tues., Aug. 26 around 8:10 p.m. in the 1500 block of Congress Street, not far from the Central High School Stadium. 

Louisville Metro Police said the man's injuries are life-threatening.
