LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — With Thunder Over Louisville less than two days away, Humana and TARC have teamed up once again to offer free rides all day.Â
It's a great day to spend on the Louisville and Jeffersonville waterfront enjoying the people, planes and fireworks.Â
To get people home as quick as possible on Saturday, TARC will be offering five post-Thunder stops within downtown Louisville. These five stops will be available immediately after the fireworks, and will be the only downtown boarding options available.Â
In addition, TARC will have 68 additional buses added to Saturday's service, and a shuttle service will be offered from Shawnee Park to Union Station throughout the day.
It is important to note that passengers riding TARC to and from southern Indiana using routes #71 (Jeffersonville-Louisville-New Albany), #72 (Clarksville), #73 (West Louisville-River Ridge) and #74 (Chamberlain Lane-River Ridge) will not be able to get back to Indiana after 8 p.m. due to the bridges being closed.
