LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisvillian is performing at the Louisville Comedy Club this weekend.

Chris Hardwick visited WDRB Mornings on Friday to talk about his upcoming performances at the club.

Hardwick is a comedian but also hosted the talk show "The Talking Dead," was featured on "Singled Out," and most recently hosted the game show "The Wall" on NBC.

He had recently taken a break from performing on the road after he and his wife welcomed their first child into their family, but his love for comedy brought him back.

Hardwick explained that his shows consist of things that populate his life now - music, marriage, babies, and animals.

Hardwick got into hosting when he was in college, landing a job on MTV.

"That was like a dream, and it really sparked into what I am doing today," Hardwick said on WDRB Mornings.

The Louisville Comedy Club is hosting four shows this weekend, two on Friday and two on Saturday.

They are at 7:00 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. Tickets range from $30 to $40, and prices will be more expensive if bought at the event.

Shows starting at 9:30 p.m. or later are ages 21 and up, and shows starting earlier are ages 18 and up.

Tickets can be purchased here.
