Build Your Own Burgers Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 8 beef burger patties
  • Salt
  • Ground pepper
  • 8 hamburger buns
  • 1 cup Kroger Pimento Cheese Spread
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 8 lettuce leaves

Directions:

  1. Preheat grill to high heat, about 450°F.
  2. Season burger patties with salt and pepper. Grill about 4 minutes per side for a medium burger or 5 minutes per side for a medium-well to well done burger (safe internal temp. 160°F).
  3. Slather top and bottom buns with pimento cheese spread, stacking burger, tomato slices and 1 lettuce leaf in between.

Patriotic Punch Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Ice
  • 1⁄2 cup cranberry juice
  • 3 tablespoons grenadine
  • 1⁄2 cup lemon-line soda
  • 1⁄2 cup low-calorie blue sports drink

Directions:

  1. Fill tall, clear glass with ice cubes.
  2. Fill ⅓ of the glass with cranberry juice. Stir in grenadine. Very slowly pour in lemon-lime soda or piña colada flavored juice, filling another ⅓ of the glass, being careful to not disturb the red layer.
  3. Fill remaining ⅓ with blue sports drink. Serve immediately, refrigerating any leftovers.
