LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The weekend is upon us, and there are plenty of things to do and see across Kentuckiana.
Here are a selection of events, markets, concerts and more happening the weekend of Friday, July 31 to Sunday, Aug. 2.
2026 Frazier Summer Beer Fest
The Frazier Summer Beer Fest is back for its 6th year this weekend at the Frazier History Museum.
It's going to be a good old fashioned block party on Main Street in front of the museum. Discover a wide variety of more than 250 craft and specialty beers from dozens of local, regional, and out-of-state breweries plus food and live music.
Some exclusive beers will only be available to VIP festivalgoers.
This is one of the biggest annual fundraisers for the Frazier Kentucky History Museum, a nonprofit that encompasses everything Kentucky. Proceeds support the museum’s exhibitions and educational programs, including free or reduced admission for Title 1 students.
It also helps the Frazier Weekly program, the "Let’s Talk: Bridging the Divide" series; spring, summer, fall, and winter camps; guided tours, guest engagements, and Stories in Mind.
The festival is set for 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1.
VIP tickets start at $90, with entry starting at 4 p.m. General admission starts at $50. Designated driver tickets cost $10, or you can get a four-pack of GA tickets for $150.

Summer Made Market
The twice annual Made Market will return to Mellwood Art Center in Louisville from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1.
The traveling curated handmade market consists of more than 90 makers from Louisville and the surrounding regions.
There will also be local food vendors on site, as well as a bar and coffee inside.
The event costs $5 per person, and is free for kids 15 and younger. Parking is also free.

The Made Market comes to Louisville twice a year, once in the summer and once in late fall for the holiday season.

Hops on the Hill 2026
Louisville's Mile Wide Beer Co. will celebrate the 10th anniversary of its Hops on the Hill event this Saturday, Aug. 1, at 5 p.m.
The festival runs all day, with a silent disco from 9 p.m. to midnight courtesy of Louisville Silent Disco.
Participating breweries include West 6th, Dssolvr, 3 Floyds, Wandering Monsters, Fabled, Xul, Mikerphone, Rar, Brew Bridge, Streetside, Hopfly and Perennial.
There will also be vendor booths on hand for Shops on the Hill, selling everything from jewelry and ceramics, to tabletop gaming books and vintage beer merchandise.
Tickets for the silent disco cost $13.26 and can be purchased by clicking here. General admission is free. VIP entry starts at 4 p.m., with GA entry starting at 5 p.m.

5th Annual Fox Fest
The Annual Fox Fest returns to St. Matthews for a great cause this weekend at the Fox Den.
The community-driven music festival brings live entertainment, local flavor and support for some community-focused organizations.
The Fox Den: Billiards, Bites & Brews in St. Matthews provides the backdrop for the 5th Fox Fest on Saturday, Aug. 1.
Enjoy nearly 12 hours of live music featuring national, regional and local rock acts while raising money for Love City. Love City is a group of neighbors in Louisville's Portland neighborhood using their gifts, their time and an oversized living room to connect and provide hope.
Artists include: RA, Signal the Revolution, Flaw, Foxbat, Softspoken, Benjee Howard, Boombox Poets, Hannan, Hooker, Throwback Thursday and Neon Sugar.
Fox Fest will be held at the Fox Den, located at 3814 Frankfort Ave. in Louisville.
Doors open at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 the day of the show. The event is 21+.

Flyover Film Festival
Film industry professionals will be in Louisville for the last weekend of the annual Flyover Film Festival.
The 16th annual festival opened Wednesday, July 22 and runs through Sunday, July 26, with an additional weekend of screenings Friday, July 31 and Saturday, Aug. 1. It consists of events such as film screenings, Q&A panels with filmmakers and parties highlighting "indie gems, documentaries, and short films with strong local and regional ties."
Two films will be shown Friday, July 31, at the Brown Theatre in downtown Louisville. Those include "The Man with the Big Hat" and "The Red Mask."
The festival concludes Saturday, Aug. 1, with several screenings at the Kentucky Science Center. Films include "Drawn to Justice," "499 Days" and "Halcyon Daze."
Flyover is produced by the Louisville Film Society.
"It's a tremendous opportunity for movie fans in our community to discover new work and hear directly from the creators about how their films came together," said Louisville Film Society Chair Stu Pollard, in a news release.
