LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A night of music, showstopping performances and family fun is set to return to the waterfront as the Louisville Orchestra prepares for its annual Independence Day celebration.
The orchestra's "Play America" concert is scheduled for July 2 at America Place at River Ridge, with Teddy Abrams leading the performance.
The free event kicks off at 6 p.m. with food trucks, drinks and activities for all ages, including face painting, balloon art and inflatable play areas. The main concert begins at 8:30 p.m.

"Play America" has become a staple summer event, drawing crowds from across the region for a night of live music along the river.
