LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- All lanes were blocked on the Clark Memorial Bridge, also known as the Second Street Bridge, Sunday afternoon for several hours after a multi-vehicle crash.
According to Louisville Metro Police, a three-vehicle crash happened near the middle of the bridge around 12:30 p.m. The bridge was then shut down on both sides.
LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said a passenger vehicle was traveling southbound on the bridge when the driver crossed into northbound lanes and hit another passenger vehicle. Another car was involved in the crash after one of the vehicles rolled over.
Two adults were taken to the hospital after the crash. Police believe their injuries are non-life-threatening.
Ellis said the third driver wasn't taken to the hospital.
Police said no charges are expected in the crash.
The bridge spans over the Ohio River, connecting downtown Louisville to southern Indiana.
