LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky Kingdom is getting ready for the 2026 season with a big announcement expected next week.
Last year, the park said it would spend $25 million on new rides and improvements over the 2025 and 2026 seasons.
The park kicked off its recent improvements with the opening of the all-new Discovery Meadow last spring
Now, it’s planning another $14 million investment — the biggest in more than five years.
A teaser video shows an old-fashioned airplane flying through the sky, with the park’s slogan "Get Ready to Test Your Wings" hinting at an exciting new ride or attraction.
Fans will have to wait until October 27 to find out exactly what’s coming.
