LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Another new luxury apartment complex is planned for Clarksville.
The Denton Floyd Real Estate Group has received approval to build the complex with nearly 200 units. "The George" will feature more than 10,000 sq. ft. of retail space. It will be located at 1409 Main Street, near the old Colgate plant and the 2nd Street bridge.
The development plan includes EV charging stations, a community clubhouse, 24-hour fitness center, pet spa, express market, and coffee bar.
In a written statement, Denton Floyd president and managing partner Mitch Collins said the company is is excited to provide a vital housing option for the Town of Clarksville.
"We are excited about the opportunity to provide a vital housing option for the Town of Clarksville. Clarksville continues to realize significant economic and job growth, and we are excited to build a 'best-in-class' apartment community in the South Clarksville TIF district. We want to thank the Town Council and Redevelopment Commission for making this project possible."
Construction is set to begin in the fall.
