LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Norton West Louisville Hospital is now accepting appointments.
Patients can get appointments for Nov. 11 and after for both primary and specialty care at the hospital in Louisville's Parkland neighborhood.
The medical offices will house adult primary care providers and specialists in areas including cardiology, oncology, neurology and surgery.
"The providers coming to west Louisville are very excited to start seeing patients," Corenza Townsend, chief administrative officer at Norton West Louisville Hospital, said in a news release Tuesday. "The space at Norton West Louisville Hospital is set up to allow flexibility as the needs of the community continue to change."
The hospital will also be staffed with emergency medicine and hospital medicine specialists when it opens on Nov. 11.
Those specialists are in addition to the over 350 employees who will work to care for patients and keep the hospital running smoothly.

The hospital is still hiring for multiple positions. Applicants will need to have the necessary skills, but Norton officials said a respect and understanding of the community is also required.
Open positions include facility engineering, licensed therapists for rehabilitation services, medical technologists and medical lab technicians, respiratory therapists, medical assistants, security officers, registered nurses, social workers, pharmacists, surgical techs, radiology technicians and more.
Norton will hold open interviews for the hospital on Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Goodwill West Louisville Opportunity Center, located at 2820 East Broadway in Louisville.

Norton West Louisville Hospital will celebrate its upcoming opening, as well as the opening of the Goodwill West Opportunity Center, with a community block party on Oct. 26 from noon to 4 p.m.
Before the celebration, leaders will unveil a historical monument "featuring health care pioneers who served the area west of Ninth Street" at 11 a.m.
The festivities will be held at the hospital, located at 850 South 28th Street in Louisville.
