LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A well-known Louisville chef who recently worked with North of Bourbon and Enso is setting up shop on Bardstown Road.Â
According to reporting from our partners at Louisville Business First, chef Lawrence Weeks said on social media he plans to open a new restaurant called Murray's Creole Pub at 1576 Bardstown Road. That space is currently occupied by Pints & Union.
"Murray's Creole Pub will be opening this fall, be on the look out for more details coming soon,"Â he wrote on his Instagram account.Â
Pints & Union left its longtime location in New Albany to open its Highlands location earlier this year in the former Cumberland Brews space on Bardstown Road. Prior to that, Against the Grain Public House, which closed in late August after a five-year run, occupied the space.Â
Pints & Union's Facebook page says the pub will remain in operation through Aug. 31.
Weeks abruptly left his role of executive chef at Enso and North of Bourbon earlier this month. The owners of Enso closed the restaurant soon after.Â
