LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 39-year-old Louisville man was arrested for an alleged theft at Lowe's, according to Louisville Metro Police.
Timothy D. McCullough was charged with theft by unlawful taking.Â
Last week, LMPD shared surveillance photos of a man at the Lowe's off Preston Highway trying to steal a generator.
He was caught on camera loading it onto a cart, and then walking out an exit without paying. Police said the generator is worth more than $1,000.
The man apparently couldn't fit the box in his car so he left it in the parking lot and took off.
Police said the investigation is still active and ongoing. LMPD said information was shared to the anonymous tip line at (502) 574-5673.Â
"Continue calling in those tips. No tip is too small," LMPD posted. "Remember, if you see something. Say something."
