LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection to a shooting that killed a 14-year-old boy back in June.
According to a statement from LMPD, Aalijah Gray was taken into custody on Thursday.
The shooting happened on June 14, 2025 in the 1600 block of Bulger Court, near South 11th Street, around 8:35 p.m. That's in Louisville's Algonquin neighborhood.
When police arrived on scene, they found the boy, whose age wasn't known at this time, with a gunshot wound. In the initial release, LMPD's Aaron Ellis said the victim was taken to the hospital with critical and life-threatening injuries. Two days later, the boy died.
Gray is being charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence. He is expected to be in court Thursday morning.
