LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man is found guilty of killing an Indiana University student.

The verdict came down Wednesday.

Daniel Messel was on trial for killing Hannah Wilson.

The 22-year-old was found beaten to death last year in a vacant lot about 10 miles from the Bloomington campus.

Prosecutors told jurors that Wilson's blood was on Messel's car and clothes, and his cellphone was found under her body.

Messel could face up to 65 years in prison.
