LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A southern Indiana man was arrested Monday on child pornography charges after an investigation launched by a tip from Florida.

Jerame Jan Hall, 48, of Pekin, Indiana, faces two counts of possession of child pornography with more charges pending, Indiana State Police said in a news release.

Investigators with ISP's Internet Crimes Against Children task force began looking into Hall in January. The task force was forwarded a cyber tip by the Bay County Sheriff's Department in Florida, which had received the tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

ISP said the tip pointed to a suspect in Indiana, later identified through the investigation as Hall.

State police served a search warrant Monday at Hall's home in Pekin, where he was taken into custody without incident. ISP said Hall was taken to the Washington County Jail on two counts of possession of child pornography, with additional charges pending.
