LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — With less than a month until Jefferson County Public Schools students return to class, parents are already making plans for the new school year — and that includes figuring out transportation.

The district’s Bus Finder tool will go live on July 28, allowing parents to look up their child’s bus stop location, pickup and drop-off times.

The district is using the same system as last year, an app called EduLog Lite. However, this year JCPS is introducing a new routing software called Traversa, that will help route special needs and early childhood education buses, with plans to expand it to all students district-wide in 2026.

JCPS students head back to school on August 7. For back to school information, click here.
