LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- You're never too old to rock and roll, right? A group of Masonic Homes residents is proof as they rehearse for their show next week.
Maxwell's House of Music in Jeffersonville offered 12 weeks of free lessons to local seniors at Masonic Homes Kentucky. Fifteen seniors learned keyboards, drums, guitar and singing. The oldest student was 94 years old.
It is part of the "Rock of Ages" program, designed for those 60 and older to help fulfill their Rockstar dream and challenge their brains.
The seniors will perform at Maxwell's at 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 10.
