LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Sen. Rand Paul visited Kentucky veterans Monday in Bullitt County.
The Republican hosted a Veteran Constituent Services Fair in Shepherdsville. The event was hosted the American Legion Post 15 on Preston Highway.
The fair helped veterans access the benefits and services they've earned such as VA Healthcare, disability assistance and community resources.
"Today we found a lot of veterans who are happy that the government is doing a pretty good job with veterans affairs, my job is to make sure that we continue to do a good job," Paul said.
Representatives from the Louisville Regional VA Office and other veteran-focused organizations were also on site assisting veterans.
