LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --Â Karen Sypher has been moved to a federal prison in Alabama.
She had been serving her seven-year sentence in Marianna, Florida, but the Bureau of Prisons moved the 53-year-old to the Federal Correctional Institute-Aliceville.
That's about 55 miles southwest of Tuscaloosa.
A jury convicted Sypher in 2010 of trying to extort millions in cash, cars and a house from University of Louisville men's basketball coach Rick Pitino.
