The AWIPS system is used to display weather and water information, and send critical weather warnings and updates. 

There were multiple tornado warnings, as the storms moved through. 

Tornadoes and strong winds rocked the Kentuckiana area Tuesday evening, leaving scattered sheds, furniture, and other debris across the area.

The current low humidity and high winds could cause problems through the end of the week. 

Tarps covered entrances to the warehouse Thursday morning, and rubble was still strewn on the ground. 

According to NWS Twitter page, the EF 1 tornado first touched down Saturday about midnight, east of the Gene Snyder Freeway at a large warehouse near Terra View Trail.

Crews were still working Friday to stabilize the earthen dam at 915 South Park Road, which was at risk of failing.

As of 11:30 a.m., there are still over 80,000 customers in Jefferson County without power.

A total of six tornadoes have been confirmed in the WDRB viewing area from Wednesday.

Mayor Greg Fischer said there have been no reports of deaths or serious injuries.
