Steve Sheangshang, 45, was arrested last week for allegedly shooting and killing a 35-year-old Scott County Sheriff's Deputy Caleb Conley on Interstate 75.
McAdam died last week after a medical emergency in the line of duty.

The visitation will be from 12-6 p.m. at the Pavilion at Pan Am, 201 S. Capitol Ave., according to a story by Fox 59.
Visitors will have to maintain a 6-foot distance from residents.
Hogg died Thursday in Owensboro, Kentucky, at age 71. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Deborah (Kelly) Hogg; two brothers, a sister, six children, more than 200 foster children, 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home in Richmond, Kentucky.
A funeral for Lance Cpl. Olivia Kustes is Tuesday at Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg.
