LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two Louisville restaurants were named in Ebony Magazine's top 45 for favorite Black-owned restaurants.
Enso and The House of Marigold made the magazine's "EBONY Eats 45" list, which highlights several establishments from mom and pop restaurants to James Beard Award-winning chefs and restaurants.
Enso is located on Frankfort Avenue and blends Japanese and southern cuisine, led by Chef Lawrence Weeks.
The House of Marigold can be found on Shelbyville Road. The restaurant sources from local growers, farmers and purveyors and serves everything from brunch to dinner.
It's owned by husband and wife duo Kris and Adrienne Cole, who opened the restaurant to build on their successful catering company.
