LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A new golf cart assembly facility is opening soon in Jeffersonville's River Ridge Commerce Center.Â
Bintelli, an industry leader in developing low-speed vehicles like golf carts, plans to invest over $4 million into the region by leasing and improving a building in River Ridge and adding new furniture and fixtures.Â
Bintelli is well-known for producing electric golf carts and various low-speed recreational vehicles like mopeds, electric bikes and scooters.
The facility is expected to create up to 67 new jobs with an average starting wage of above $26.00 per hour. The company will partner with trucking company Mister "P" Express for distribution.Â
