LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A day care worker caught on camera abusing children in Louisville pleaded guilty on Monday.

Racheal Flannery pleaded guilty to 10 counts of criminal abuse.

In September 2022, Flannery was caught on video squeezing, shaking, hitting, and eventually dropping a baby on the floor at the Vanguard Academy in Norton Commons.

She was arrested Sept. 30, 2022 and charged with three counts of first-degree criminal abuse, to which she pleaded not guilty in October 2022.

A Jefferson County Grand Jury indicted Flannery in November 2022, charging her with 10 counts of criminal abuse. The jury said she allegedly criminally abused 10 children while working at Vanguard Academy between Sept. 21-28, 2022. Flannery pleaded not guilty to more than a dozen charges of abuse in December 2022.

As part of Monday's plea deal, the state recommended seven years in prison, 10 if she gets probation.

A sentencing hearing was set for Jan. 6. Vanguard Academy has since been shut down.
