Christopher Sharp, 35, is charged with three counts of procuring or promoting the use of a minor by an electric means.
Kentucky State Police said the investigation started when Sharp was allegedly requesting sexually explicit material from a young child online.
Sharp was arrested last Friday, May 16, by KSP and is being held in the Hardin County Detention Center. He's scheduled to be arraigned Friday afternoon. KSP said his felony charge carries a punishment of up to five to 10 years in prison.
