LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man was arrested Thursday in connection with the murder of another man in the city's Parkland neighborhood in November.

Ryan Simms, 22, was arrested on a warrant by the Louisville Metro Police Department's Fugitive Unit.

Simms is charged with murder and receiving stolen property for the Nov. 26 shooting in the 1000 block of South 29th Street.

Police responded to the shooting around 10:43 p.m. that night. When they arrived on scene, officers found a man who had been shot and was unconscious and not breathing, an LMPD spokesperson said at the time.

The man was taken to University of Louisville Hospital where he died. His name has not yet been publicly released.

Simms is being held at Metro Corrections.
