LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville family is marking yet another birthday for a mother of two who hasn't been seen since she disappeared in 2019.
Andrea Knabel's 42nd birthday is Jan. 7. It will be the fifth birthday that has come and gone since she went missing on Aug. 13, 2019. That's when the Louisville mother of two was last seen in the Audubon Park area.
Family and friends continue to raise awareness about her disappearance, and have planned several activities in honor of her birthday.

Saturday, loved ones plan to hand out missing persons flyers for volunteers to post. The flyers will be distributed starting at 2 p.m. at Pindell and Hess Lane, which is not far from where she was last seen. Family and friends will then attend a church service at 4 p.m., followed by a private dinner and birthday party.
Andrea's father, Mike Knabel, said he continues to receive tips including one that came in Jan. 3 from out of town. He said many calls have been received from people thinking they saw Andrea, but none have panned out. Even so, the family is holding out for some type of closure.
