LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Animal Services is asking for information after picking up an abandoned dog at a local White Castle.Â
In a Facebook post, officials said the dog was picked up Friday night at the restaurant on Cedar Springs Boulevard, off Bardstown Road, south of Fern Creek.Â
A manager showed an animal services worker to a back room where the dog was being kept. Officials said it was not microchipped.
Security footage from the restaurant showed a gray SUV pull up to the drive-thru when the dog appeared. LMAS said a driver in a car behind the SUV seen in the footage yelled at employees that the person let their dog out and left the area.
Anyone with information about the dog is asked to call LMAS at (502) 473-7387.
