LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The dog days of summer were celebrated on Saturday.

Club K9 Dog Park Bar hosted its third annual National Dog Day celebration to benefit the Kentucky Humane Society.

There was a corn hole tournament and doggie raffle baskets, photo contests and food trucks. There were also plenty of dogs looking to be adopted.

"We have almost two acres, a large indoor area that is heated in the winter and out back we have about an acre and a half," said Marilyn Parker, Club K9 Dog Park Bar co-owner. "We have a pool in the back with fountains and we do fun events all the time so we make it fun for the dogs and the humans."

Any dog adopted now through Monday will get a free year membership to Club K9.
