LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A woman died in a crash early Saturday morning in Valley Station, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD responded to a crash involving a pedestrian at Valley Station Road and Grafton Hall Road around 2:30 a.m. LMPD spokesperson John Bradley said a van was traveling east on Valley Station Road and hit a woman in the roadway who was walking in the eastbound lane.
The woman, who hasn't been identified, died at the scene.
Police said the driver of the van remained on scene. Bradley said no charges are expected at this time.
LMPD's Traffic Unit is investigating the incident.
