LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police are investigating after a body was found in a ditch in Shelby County, Kentucky.
According to police, the body was found around 5:15 p.m. Tuesday on Cropper and Vigo roads, north of Shelbyville.
The county coroner told WDRB News the body was partially decomposed. A cause of death will be determined through an autopsy.
Police are calling the case a death investigation. The person has not yet been identified.
