LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- All lanes of Interstate 65 south were blocked Sunday evening just after the Kennedy Bridge after a semi crashed into the same barrier that a semi did earlier in the day.
According to TRIMARC, the crash occurred around 7 p.m. on I-65 south before Hospital Curve and didn't have another vehicle involved.Â
Louisville Metro Police said the semi driver lost control and struck a barrier that had been repaired earlier in the day. The semi became jackknifed and the driver sustained non-life threatening injuries.
The roadway reopened just before 9 p.m.
Earlier Saturday emergency crews rescued a semi-truck driver that was dangling over the Kennedy Bridge after a crash.
