Multiple people were displaced Monday evening after a house caught fire in Louisville's California neighborhood.

One person was displaced Thursday after an early morning house fire in Louisville's Shawnee neighborhood.

The owner said everything inside is considered a total loss.

Arson investigators determined the cause of the fire was smoking while using oxygen.

One occupant was able to exit the home without assistance. 

There were no injuries reported and searches of the complex were negative.

Two vacant homes caught fire in the Russell neighborhood Tuesday evening, according to Louisville Fire.

Flooding has overwhelmed parts of the city, trapping residents and visitors alike.

Officials said people who evacuated should not plan to return until at least Wednesday.
