LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Louisville Bats are partnering with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive this week.
The blood drive will be held at Louisville Slugger Field in downtown Louisville from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22. Donors of all blood types are encouraged to participate.
People who donate blood will receive four vouchers that can be redeemed for reserved tickets for any Louisville Bats home game during the 2025 season, except for Thunder Over Louisville and Independence Day eve on July 3. According to a news release, the Red Cross will also send donors a $20 Amazon gift card via email.
Those who donate blood will also be entered in a trip for two to the Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.Â
Donors must be at least 17 years old, or 16 with parental consent, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health to participate. People can park in the main Louisville Slugger Field lot at the intersection of Jackson and Main streets.Â
