LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Kentucky distillery is cleaning up after a mudslide early Monday.
A spokesperson for Buffalo Trace said the weather-related mudslide happened on the northeast side of the distillery along the Kentucky River Monday morning.
The mudslide caused one Conex cargo container and one temporary office to fall into the river, the spokesperson said.
No staff members were near the area during the incident, and the area was roped off for safety.
The distillery is still looking into the situation and is working with professionals to clean the area properly.
The spokesperson said the mudslide had no impact on production, tours or visitation.
