LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 19-year-old man is dead and a 17-year-old boy is injured after a shooting in the Taylor Berry neighborhood on Sunday night, according to Louisville Metro Police.

LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said police responded to a shooting in the 1300 block of Earl Avenue, near Taylor Boulevard, around 9:22 p.m. Once police arrived on scene, they found two males who had been shot. 

Mitchell said one victim is 17 years old, and at that time the age of the other victim was unknown.

Both victims were taken to University of Louisville Hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries at the time, according to Mitchell.

On Monday morning, LMPD sent out an update saying the second male was 19 years old and died at University Hospital as a result of his injuries.

LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating the incident, but police don't have any suspects.
