LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man's driving led police in Nelson County to uncover several bags of meth.
The Nelson County Sheriff's Office said Nicholas Ballard, 39, of Bardstown, was driving carelessly around 1 a.m. Tuesday, so deputies pulled him over.
K-9 officer Turbo detected drugs in the vehicle during the stop. That's when a deputy said he found several individual bags of meth.
Ballard was charged with careless driving, operating on a suspended license and trafficking in controlled substances. He's being held at Nelson County Corrections.
