LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Football season is approaching, and Cardinal fans can get a glimpse of the team before the season begins. 

University of Louisville football head coach Jeff Brohm announced Monday the first seven preseason practices will be open to the public.

Fans will be allowed to watch the opening practice of fall camp on Wednesday, July 30 at 2:45 p.m. Other open practices are at 9:45 a.m. Friday, Aug. 1,  Saturday Aug. 2, Monday, Aug. 4, Tuesday Aug. 5, Thursday, Aug. 7 and Friday, Aug. 8. 

No photos or videos are allowed during any of the open practices.

Most practices will be on the grass practice fields, weather permitting, but  could also be inside L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium or at the Trager Indoor Practice Facility. If the team is practicing on the grass or at the Trager facility, fans have to stand behind the ropes along the sidelines. If the team is practicing at the stadium, fans have to stay in the stands.

Parking is available in the Bronze Lots F and G. 

Louisville opens the season on Saturday, Aug. 30 against Eastern Kentucky at 3 p.m. at L&N Stadium.
