LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A pizza place near the Highlands in Louisville is back open after a fire.

The Derby City Pizza on Dundee Road, in the Belknap neighborhood, is celebrating its reopening all weekend.

It closed in late August after a fire that caused damage and left a lot of cleaning up to do.

The restaurant said it's been a long five weeks and is asking for the community's support now that it's serving customers again.

The location opened last August in the former Dundee Tavern as the 10th Derby City Pizza location in the Louisville area.
