LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass in Simpsonville is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
The outlet mall has more than 80 stores and draws more than 3.5 million visitors each year, according to a news release Tuesday. The shopping center has created more than 1,200 jobs each year and affected economic development in the area that has led to new businesses, distilleries and hotels.
Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass features retailers like Abercrombie & Fitch, PUMA, Ghirardelli Chocolate, Adidas, Michael Kors, Tory Burch, Calvin Klein, The North Face, Columbia Sportswear, Tommy Hilfiger and Polo Ralph Lauren.
"The center has established a strong reputation among bus groups nationwide as a favored stopover destination, offering a diverse selection of food options and pleasant surroundings tailored to accommodate large groups," Janette Marson, president and CEO of Shelby County Visitors and Tourism, said in a news release.
