LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Parts of the Sherman Minton Bridge are scheduled to be closed this weekend.
The westbound lanes will close at 10 o'clock Friday night (Nov. 17), with plans to reopen at 6 a.m. Monday morning (Nov. 20).
The closure will allow the construction crews to prepare for Phase 4 of the Renewal project.
Looking ahead, the eastbound lanes are scheduled to close at 10 p.m. on Dec. 8 and will not reopen until 5 a.m. on Dec. 20.
Drivers should instead take I-65 and I-265 to avoid delays.
